Terrors of the Sky...

This last Saturday, September 12th, Robert's brother and sister-in-law (Josh & Sarah) as well as the two of us ventured out to the Sacramento Airshow. We met up and took lightrail in for free! It was Robert's first ride so we had a lot of fun. Little did I know how excitement was to come. With their father being in the Air Force for 8 years, I believe, Robert & Josh grew up dreaming of planes and their "awesomeness".

If you want to see grown men act like six-year-olds again.....go to an Airshow!

Don 't get me wrong, these planes were amazing! Like nothing I've ever seen before! BUT to see a plane blast by men jump up and down exchange multi high-fives was priceless.

It was so fun to see Robert get so excited. I had no idea he knew SO MUCH about planes until we walked 10 more feet, saw another plane and he started telling me all of its best attributes and all of the P,B,F, 52, 22, 16, etc. It was crazy, but SO much fun!

I had a blast not only watc hing all these loud planes go by but I LOVED testing out my zoom!! these planes were moving so fast and so high but I think i got some great shots I wanted to share!

These performers were called "Wing Walkers". It was a girl that climbed up on the wing during flight and had no parachute or any safey equipment except for a simple lap belt.

These guys were called the Patriots. Apparently there are only 30 of these in the world, so it was very rare and exciting that we got to see a B-2 Stealth Bomber.

This was a tribute to how far we have progressed with our U.S. Fighter Planes

This is the newest and best fighter plane yet. It's called an F-22 Raptor and it was remarkable to watch!

This picture below was a demonstration of what it would look like to open the bomb doors.


Here is one of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds in a steep climb. These pilots had some amazing tricks!!




They also had older and larger planes around to go look at, and some you could even go inside!





Here are more pictures of the Thunderbirds who are the main spotlight. As you can see, there are 4 flying one way, and a fifth flying in between the opposite way.

MOST thoughtful husband ever!!!!

I started school back up this last Monday and my schedule is C-R-A-Z-Y!! I get up at 6am, leave at 6:30 to make it to work by 7am. Then I work until 4pm just to drive to CSUS to make it to classes which last back to back until 8:20pm. THEN I get to enjoy a 30 minute drive home to my HANDSOME HANDSOME....did I mention HANDSOME husband!!!!

Needless to say I was a little stressed and nervous at the start of this week. I've really been worried about doing all my school work as well as keeping up the simple things around the house.

The first day of school, I find a little red lunch box in the fridge that says "For My Love". Robert had packed me lunch and dinner to help me last through the day. Let me tell you.....if you want an AWESOME lunch have Robert make it!

The next day I come home to a COMPLETELY cleaned house. Laundry folded & put away. Dishes done and in cupboards. NOTHING on the floor. A MADE BED!!! I was so completely surprised! Not to mention that he had already made a lunch for the very next day for me.

Robert is so caring and selfless. He loves me more than anyone else does.....and the best part is he shows it in his actions.

I wouldn't trade my honey for anything else in the world.

Long needed update!

So, I am the worst blogger ever! After we got home from our Utah trip I instantly downloaded the pictures of those adorable girls and never got the chance to upload them on here!!! Soon I WILL put them up though just so you can see how precious they are!

So, obviously we've been home for awhile. We had a great time in Utah and were able to visit my Uncle, Aunt and cousins and 2 of my best friends, as well as his Grandparents and extended family. It was a much needed trip and we loved every moment! We did love having Bajio at our fingertips! In 5 days we went 3 times!! We also had a blast bowling with Josh/Hill. On the way there they found some hats in the back of "the boat" (Robert's Grandma's Car). They had a little too much fun!

As for everything else, we are back just working and dreading next Monday (Aug. 31st). I start school again! I took this past Spring semester off to get married and so jumping back into the swing of things is not only hard but will be busy! I'll be working full time 7am-4pm and then running off straight to school until almost 8-9pm every weeknight. We'll see how it goes!

This past weekend I was able to see some of my best friends!! They came in town for our friend, Alena's wedding! Sarah was so gracious as to send me some pictures.

This weekend we also attended a birthday party for Justin & Sarah Kelley. Afterwards we had a blast in the Arcade! We had my purse packed full of tickets and little kids were all commenting on how many tickets we had and how "cool" we were! Robert & I got addicted to "Deal or No Deal" and are very grateful we are not gamblers!!!!! I also took a picture of Robert's best win!!! The tickets kept coming and coming for a basketball game we played!

So right after work today we're leaving for UTAH!!

I haven't seen my new baby twin cousins and they are a year old now so Robert and I are venturing to Utah for a week to have a blast!

We plan on visiting some friends, family and even visiting the SLC Temple to do a session!! So we are completely excited. I will make sure to post lots of pictures and stories!
